Baptism is an important step in your journey as a follower of Christ.

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of baptism as our identification with Jesus in his death, burial, and resurrection. When you make the decision to accept Christ as your Savior, the Bible says that your old way of life is dead, and you are beginning a new life with Christ. Baptism is an outward symbol of the work Christ has already done in your life. Accepting Christ as your Savior means you believe that Jesus Christ alone died on the cross for your sins. And that by His death and bodily resurrection, Jesus bridged the gap between you and God for all time.

If you have come to this point in your spiritual journey, then you are ready to be baptized. At Mesa Church, we come together on this special occasion to celebrate your commitment to your new life in Christ.  Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time and never got baptized or are a new Christian, we would be honored to baptize you!

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matt 28:18-20
