Joy is more than a look or an emotion, it is a reaction to positive circumstances and fulfilling relationships. Without Joy, life is bleak, it’s hard to go on--there is sadness, anxiety, and conflict. When we find ourselves lacking, we cannot simply will ourselves back into joy. The key to discovering it is not the actual pursuit of Joy itself, but the pursuit of Jesus.
